Good to see you're learning the system - you can explain it to others now ... :)

Re emails - yeah - go to Alerts - top right of main page. Then just adjust as you like.

It does send you crazy otherwise. I guess its like all these things where you have to opt out - not opt in.

Interesting...I'd be happy to see him go as he is surplus to requirements in 2018 and he deserves a better end to his career than playing reserve grade.

But who would we replace him with??? He is our only quality backup hooker. Maybe we should just keep him and play him at Norths in case Cook gets injured, suspended, or starts playing crap. Farah is also one of the backup players for the halves.

That is actually a very valid point. I guess we'll just have to see what happens with it.

    Jesse Martin.

Now there's some talk that it's all been mis-quoted.

    Martin can play hooker...

    He'd be next option!

Did well for Norths in a trial at hooker and scored 2 tries.

Jesse Martin can play Lock, Backrow and Hooker but predominantly he is a lock. He better brush up on the other 2 positions though as I don't think he will be taking Cam Murray's place anytime soon.

If true, that should free up some $$'s to get Smokin' Joe Burgess out of his contract early and back to Redfern on the first available flight. We NEED fast young specialist wingers badly!

Hey mate you'd think this week:

Nicholls, Tatola, George and Fui won't get too many minutes!

    You'd think:

Sam, Crichton, Sutto and Murray get the most minutes followed by Tom with around 40mins.

I'd like Murray to come on at just before the half hour mark and stay on so he gets around 50mins!

Seibs may bring him off with 10 to go though!

Jennings has speed but he worries me a bit as you know!

Mate if we don't polish off this bog average Warriors side and then Penrith I'll be livid....

I expect us to beat those 2 sides...

I believe in our side this year! Heck even Musgrove and Turner aren't in the best 21! When has that happened?? Our depth is better!

6th-8th is up for grabs and I think getting off to the right start is vital!

You know what mate I think we can win say 12-13 games and sneak in there!!!!!

We will be going nuts if that's the case!!!!! I know I'll be going off........

I'm starting to get a bit emotional thinking about the prospect of it!

Sam, Crichton, Sutton and Murray can all play BIG mins and Cook is meant to be playing close to 80 mins. That means a lot of short stint of high impact off the bench. I don't think Tatola will get more than 20 mins first up but I am expecting Nicholls to get 40 mins like Tom but in two stints. I think George has a LOT of work to do and all Souths eyes will be on BOTH Burgii to make sure that they don't spill the pill.

I'm not a fan of Jennings, I just don't think he is ready for first grade yet much like Braidon Burns. I think Campbell Graham will be replacing Jennings before long. I just hope Jennings' poor defensive reads and inept defence don't cost Souths dear in the meantime. I'm looking forward to Tatola slipping some more "Beetsonesque" late offloads though. Can't wait for the game to start, so close now!

No, Seibold has already given this position to Cam Murray in 2018. There was an interview where Sam joked that Cam Murray had been teasing him that he stole his jersey from him. But then Murray got injured, which is why he is being eased back in from the bench. Within a few rounds I expect Cam Murray will be the starting lock again and Sam will play at prop and then move to lock to cover the forward rotation for Murray when he gets a rest. I would still play Sam on an edge though for the reasons I have stated, at this stage though it looks like Seibold has things well and truly under control.

Well no matter which number Sam has on his back, I just hope he plays in the middle third of the field, but sometimes runs out wider like a second rower when we are attacking the try line.

Agreed re Murray. However, I don't think Sam will be on an edge at all this year unless we get hit real hard with injuries. As RR says, a roaming prop who has the freedom to attack a bit wider at times would be amazing!
