Souths young gun Dylan Walker will remain at the Rabbitohs until the end of the 2016 season.

South Sydney have re-signed young gun Dylan Walker for another three NRL seasons after just five first-grade appearances.

Looks like Roy Asotasi wil be off at season's end.

I guess they can't keep him on the salary he is on.

I think it's been known for some time that Roy will be off to other pastures.........I hope Souths can send him off with a premiership as reward for his efforts.

He's been a great player over the years. Just the last several he has had a horror run with injuries.

South Sydney veteran Roy Asotasi has announced he will leave the NRL at season's end to join English Super League club Warrington.
The 31-year-old front-rower has signed a two-year deal with the Wolves from 2014, the Rabbitohs said in a statement on Tuesday.
Asotasi has played 206 first-grade games since making his NRL debut in 2002 - 122 of them for South Sydney.
He's also played 25 Tests for New Zealand and Samoa, who he is set to captain at this year's rugby league World Cup.
Rabbitohs chief executive Shane Richardson said Asotasi kick-started the club's "revolution" when he joined them back in 2007.
"Roy was the best prop in the game at the time and his faith in the vision for the club has led us to where we are heading now," Richardson said.
"Roy is one of our forward leaders and will always be remembered as such, and now he has an opportunity to extend his career at a quality English Club in Warrington."
Asotasi said he's looking forward to beginning his new adventure in England but added the ride is not over with the Rabbitohs.
"I'll always think of myself as a South Sydney boy, and I'll be looking forward to the next chapter of my career once this season comes to a close," the prop said.
"We have much more to achieve at this club and the job isn't done yet. I'm looking forward to playing my part for the rest of the year."
Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire praised Asotasi's professionalism and his part in mentoring several players in his current ladder-leading squad.
"He wanted the club to progress in the right direction and he's played a huge role in helping us take that direction," Maguire said.
The Rabbitohs travel to Perth this week for Sunday's match against the Warriors.

Souths must have issues with the Cap emerging. They have a very strong team and unfortunately as soon as this happens you have to let players go - in this "Cap" world.

We lost so many after 2010.

There could be some cap issues, but Souths have some good young players and the older guys have to be let go so that they have a chance of keeping them.

Congrats to South for signing all the Burgess boys to long term deals. A great coup if you ask me.

Anyone know how long Inglis has been signed for, also Adam Reynolds.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce the signing of experienced outside back Joel Reddy for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Reddy, 27, has played a total of 117 NRL games for both the Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels since making his first grade debut in 2005. He has also represented City Origin on two occasions, firstly in 2010 and again this season.

Reddy is comfortable playing centre, wing or fullback, and Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire says he will add valuable experience to the Rabbitohs backline next year.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have also signed both Dave Tyrrell and Bryson Goodwin for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Tyrrell, 24, has risen through the under 20s and NSW Cup ranks at the Rabbitohs to play 72 NRL matches since making his debut against the Panthers in 2009. Tyrrell joined the Club as an outside back and has now developed into a front row forward, becoming an important cog in South Sydney’s front row rotation.

Goodwin, 27, joined the Rabbitohs this season, playing 85 NRL matches since making his debut for the Sharks in 2007. Goodwin has also represented New Zealand on four occasions. Goodwin has worked hard to earn a spot in the South Sydney backline, having overcome a major injury whilst playing for the Bulldogs last season.

Goodwin has been playing better in the South's environment, than he ever did at the Dogs.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to confirm the signing of young forward Chris Grevsmuhl for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, as well as the contract extension of under 20s captain Cameron McInnes until the end of 2015.

Grevsmuhl, 20, has been a member of the North Queensland Cowboys’ under 20s squad since making his debut as a schoolboy, playing in 53 under 20s matches and scoring 31 tries.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to confirm the signing of forward Joe Picker for the 2014 season.

Picker, 25, has been a member of the Canberra Raiders NRL squad since making his debut in 2007, playing in 110 First Grade Games, scoring 20 tries.

Picker, who stands 190cm tall and weighs 100kg, has played representative games for the Junior Kangaroos, NSW Under 19’s and the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2008, scoring a try in a 54-30 defeat of Papua New Guinea.

Picker is a versatile forward and will add size and aggression to the Rabbitohs pack.

    Good buy imo.

Christ almighty took about wasting your talent in a dog of a sport. Hope he doesn't catch a cold standing around waiting something to happen.
