Henry has told co-captain William Zillman and leading trio Josh Hoffman, David Mead and Luke Douglas they are free to leave the club. The coach is prepared to honour the deals of Zillman, Hoffman and Douglas, who are contracted to the Titans until the end of next season, but has made it clear he will not stand in the way of the big-name trio and Mead, who is currently off contract, if they can secure more lucrative deals in the NRL or overseas. ------------- As I've said before - no need to rush out and buy anyone - there will always be someone come available.
Hoffman and Zillman should go. Mead on the way to the Sea Eagles. Douglas is worth to much to the Titans, dumb comment from Henry.
Titans prop David Hala has been released by the Titans for the remainder of the 2016 season, by mutual consent. The 26-year-old, who unfortunately battled injury in his time here since joining for the 2015 season, became the 100th Titans’ NRL representative when he made his club debut against Melbourne last season. Not sure if this means he's injured or what - but he plans to play out his time in the Qld Cup - so must be OK. Might be a useful buy to someone.
Apparently was struggling for fitness in pre-season. Injuries have really ruined his career. Will find it difficult to break into the strong Dolphins pack though.
Will be a big loss, was starting to develop nicely. Broncos might need to buy an experienced prop to help the younger ones.
Also his signing could have a negative affect if team harmony is disrupted to fit him in...Should play in the QCUP first to prove match fitness.
not sure about the team but the management didn't look to impressed at his news conference where he harped on about Parra.
The Aquis Gold Coast Titans are pleased to announce the signing of Kevin Proctor, for four seasons, through until the end of season 2020. The New Zealand born Tugun Seahawks junior has spent his entire NRL career with the Melbourne Storm, playing 179 games, since debuting against the St George Illawarra Dragons in Round 10 of season 2008 that also included being part of the 2012 Premiership winning side. As well as his outstanding club career, the 27-year-old has also graced the international stage playing 15 Tests for the Kiwis.
Konrad Hurrell has injured himself at pre-season training. He is expected to be sidelined for up to a month.
