I just threw up a little in my mouth
at least you didn't CHOKE
Last weekend before Christmas - 4 sleeps to go !
Does everyone have the traditional Christmas - ie hot lunch/dinner, or more the prawns and crab on the beach style ?
We still have the turkey and roast veges. Crackers and stuff.
I reckon its the company and food rather than the presents these daze ...
AND ... a top bottle of red ...
will settle for chilled seafood and maybe a grilled fillet of shark
Good to see even Santa is in Red and White ...
Christmas isn't proper Christmas unless it's freezing cold and miserable weather! Youse guys with your sunshine, you haven't got it right at all!
Years ago I loved in southern Africa for a while, and I remember how strange a hot Xmas seemed to me.
All the best to youse guys, I've enjoyed the last year (and the World Cup especially) a lot with you all.
Next year my son and his girlfriend are doing a 'world tour' like what the young people do these days and he was encouraging me to fly out and meet him somewhere, so a trip to Aus/NZ is not totally out of the question. I always thought I would love to see the Tigers play the Warriors at Leichhardt. But I checked the fixtures and they don't play there. Oh well.
We spent one Christmas in the UK - I was vaguely disappointed. I expected it to be really Dickensian but I think we're more like that in Oz.
I must say I loved Grassmere and some of the smaller towns - lots of decos !
Never heard of it, actually, Ah, the Lake District. It's pretty, but it rains all the time there. Wouldn't want to to live there. I'd prefer the league-playing areas of Yorkshire; it's beautiful countryside around Leeds, Huddersfield, and right down into Derbyshire. Spent many a happy hour up there on my bike.
aaah The Ol dart, wet one day rainy the next, a little like Qld except for the heat
A Merry Christmas to one and all. Hope you have all had a good one so far.
You to Muppet. Good to see you again my friend.
Ben Creagh took some time out from the pre-season along with teammates Euan Aitken and Beau Henry to spread Christmas cheer at Wollongong Hospital this week as part of the club's Secret Santa initiative in conjunction with Destination Wollongong.
