Back at you Buddy ...
I work with Streets ice cream in my job. My roll is similar to the snow man above except i fill the Cornetto cones with chocolate.....
Have a safe Xmas everyone.
And to you ALX22.
Merry christmas everyone. Stay safe!
Happy Christmas all you guys!
Earlier I was watching the Season Review on the Wigan TV site; I hadn't realised that the first three episodes weren't all of it (duh!), and there's eight in all, with highlights of every game. Bloody hell, we scored some great tries. And the contests with Leeds reached a level of compulsive entertainment that, for me, the NRL seldom matches. I guess that's why i enjoy watching the Warriors so much. They play by far the closest to an attacking English style in the NRL, and when it works, as it did for NZ and SJ in the Four Nations final, it's thrilling to watch.
Roll on next season!
One thing that Season Review brought back was that Matty Bowen scored a try in the play-offs against Warrington that was exactly like Ryan Hall's against the Aussies. To be honest, I thought they were both problematical at the time, but Bowen's was given, and Hall's was no different. Of course you can't expect full continuity between refs across continents, but many English fans remembered it at the time.
FWIW, I'd like to see a bit tougher line on this from refs in the future. I believe a try needs a decent hand on it, not a brush with a fingertip, to be within the spirit of the game.
Watched "Fury" last night - movie with Brad Pitt - worth a look.
I love that Brad Pitt is playing the 'grizzled old vet' parts now.
Well, maybe I don't!
Bit surprised Hollywood think there is yet more mileage in WW2.
Yes - age catching up. He's a bit like Russell Crowe - not sure why but I always enjoy their movies. Legends of the Fall was a favourite.
I guess there are so many angles you can play - individuals to groups etc - both sides.
Happy New Year, guys!
I got here as fast as I could...
Happy new year to you all.
