With luck Frizz and Duges will make it back intact.

Then the Gold Coast. So - could be the beginning of the new era.

I thought the Titans would be a lot better this season but while they are putting in some good games they are also run hot and cold so you just have to wait and see which side turns up on game day.
Frizzell might help lift our attack with his hard running but it wont do much for our rubbery defence unfortunately. The whole side needs to lift and they only do that in patches.

Dragons played well for first 10 minutes then went back to sleep serving up the same ol crap in the face of the massive possession the Knights had.
Rightly boo ed off at half time to.
2nd half they had more ball and put a lot more effort into their play and started getting some results and points on the board.
In the end they scraped over the line to take the points but the finish could have gone either way.

Highlight of the game for me was the ever reliable Nightingale getting his 100th try.

A fair amount of penalties and odd calls by the Refs.
One thing I didn't quite understand the was their decisions on some of the slightly forward - forward passes. I thought given the blatant ones overlooked in SOG they had set the benchmark a lot higher before calling them now.

The Dragons wouldn't have got away with that win against any other team in the comp. I don't think it really could have gone either way; once the Dragons got within 6 I thought it pretty much a foregone conclusion that they'd get across the line. The Knights were out on their feet. A better side would never have taken their foot off the throat.
