Injury news here please.
Promising Penrith back-rower Matt Robinson is believed to have suffered a broken neck which will rule him out for the rest of the NRL season.
Robinson was injured in his club's NRL win over Paramatta on Saturday and the club issued a statement on Monday saying initial scans indicated it was similar to teammate Sam McKendry's injury earlier this season.
Fellow New Zealander McKendry fractured the C6 vertebra in his neck, coincidentally also against the Eels.
Jamal Idris is set to miss the start of the NRL season due to a suspected grade one hamstring tear suffered in the Panthers’ 52-4 win over NSW Cup side Newtown.
Wallace - 2/3 weeks ?
Wallace out for season.
Elijah Taylor (ACL), Brent Kite (torn pectoral) and Bryce Cartwright (syndesmosis) all face long term stints on the sideline.
They join Peter Wallace (ACL) and livewire utility Tyrone Peachey (torn pectoral).
Yet another - hooker Kevin Kingston looks to be out for season.
Hooker James Segeyaro is set for a timely return.
Jamie Soward (back, Round 8)
Moylan - 6 weeks ?
Te Maire Martin - fractured glenoid (shoulder) - season.
Dean Whare - season - ACL.
Peta Hiku - season - torn ACL
Grevsmuhl will take Fisher-Harris' spot. Not sure who will replace Hiku? R.Jennings?
Wallace - 4-6 weeks.
Cartwright - may go under the knife.
Moylan - rumours of hammy problems.
Trent Merrin - 6-8 weeks - MCL.
Latu - broken jaw ?
Didn't look good when Latu went off. The Chocccy soldiers still got the points against the Dodgies whose only real success this season has been Chase Stanley's lack of injury although they did do well against the Dragons.
