So - what do we do - play the same mob ?

    Start a few different ones.

Packer will be back - but will Duges.

Mann to start ? Aitken back ?

OR - really look to next year and go with Field AND Dufty. Play Matthews.

Give Marketo the boot. "Rest" McDonald, Nighty and/or Lafai ?

Basically the Dragons have stuffed their own season so they may as well keep working towards next seasons planning.
Nene does need a "rest" or some proper instruction from the coach to stay on his wing and mark up his opposite.
The odd thing is they started off their season with a good win over the Choccy soldiers who then had issues of their own but are now the team that would put the Dragons out of the 8.
The Titans will be somewhat embarrassed by their loss to the Broncos so it will be a game of last up losers and who wants the win more.
You might say the only claim to fame for the second half of the season is that the Dragons are playing teams like the Knights and Bunnies into some form

    Dufty must stay at fullback.

If tightazz Milward had not got his way the Dugan would be the best option at FB as he is not a centre.
As he is leaving Dufty may as well get more runs on the board as FB in the hope the Dragons can get their act together for longer in 2018 than they lasted this season

Rumors are spreading about possible over spending by some clubs in anticipation of a somewhat larger salary cap that may not actually happen.
If that occurs a few clubs may have to offload some "purchases".
I think the sharks will do all sorts of fancy bookkeeping to fit Duges in but the Dragons should consider making a bid to lure the Coal Train up to the Gong after all he is said to like fishing:smug: and he is a thinking forward that can double as the games biggest 5/8th

These days you don't really know until the new season kicks off. He "trained" well enough at the Raiders that they gave him a contract:facepalm:
