Sharks never gave up in a solid first win to the Horse in front of 11k crowd.

Ben Hunt can head to St George immediately.

Thought it was a good game. Open and fast. Ref tried to be the star but moved on. Darbs went well. Good battle in forwards.

I thought Broncs halves went OK for first game. A few rusty passes and poor options - but some good ones too.

Enjoyable first game of the season.

For the first match of the season it was pretty good.
best was the solid defensive tackling and hard running attack by both sides
The not so good was a lot of unnecessary penalties given away by the sharks. You have to wonder what issues Flanagan will complain about now he has his two referees..
Also on last nights effort the Dragons might be thinking they should have offered their money to Milford.

I didn't think he was any better than Hunt. BUT - have you joined the tipping comp ?

Can only judge on the game they played.
Hunt did lot of catch and pass(anyone can do that) he also did some poor last tackle chip kicks but did one nice pass and lost the ball in a play which resulted in a sharks try.
Milford was dangerous Every time he touched the ball, ran well and was slippery to tackle. He even scored a try that you would have thought would have taken a forward to do.
Next week it may be Hunt that shines but I am not the only one who thought Hunts effort last night was not worth the money he has on offer and even living legend Tommy Ridiculous agreed.
Nah as a betting man I am useless and the only time I ever won was when I had to work at Randwick. They used to give me a dollar to bet with and meal voucher. Needless to say I would take the dollar home:bag:

NO - not the Bookie - the tipping comp we set up - picking the 8 winners each week. It goes all season long. You just pick the one you think will win. No betting etc.
