To the aggrieved who feel cheated by losses to the Eels during the salary cap breach, this is one of the results that says your team may very well have been beaten anyway and you may need to own those losses.

How good is Bevan French! What a talent! The Eels are going to be one of the teams to stop this season.

Back to reality with a bump for the Dragons. I've often criticised Widdop on here, but he had one of his better games, and can certainly hold his head up. His halves partner, though, is bang ordinary, always was. Why the Dragons bought him, I have no idea.

And Marshall dropped? I thought he'd left the club?

    Marshall's up in Qld.

I feel they must play Field - forget McCrone - sure he's safe and steady - but lets look to the future and have a go !

Well if you've got a talented kid, play him! We lost Joe Burgess to a serious injury, and brought a lad in who'd played one senior game before on Thursday, and he scored four tries! Seems to me, looking from the outside, that the Dragons continually let promising youngsters go, and replace them with journeymen.

    Totally correct .
The Dragons want to shore up their side NOW rather than use the young guys they have developed which is why Bird, Hastings, latimore and a plethora of others have ended up doing well at other clubs and it didn't help our cause that they hardly gave them a run in top grade if at all.
They instead prefer to waste their money on players looking to top up their pension with the likes of Woodford and others at the twilight o their careers
The idea of bringing up young players is not to train them up for other clubs to get the benefit from.

Yes Bazza it was a very good win against an error ridden Dragons.
Now if the eels can get the rest of their house in order they could easily be there in September
