The St George Illawarra Dragons will host their Members Appreciation game at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park against traditional rivals Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Sunday, September 3.

The Dragons will show their appreciation to all Red V Members and fans with a number of initiatives planned for the club's final regular game of 2017.

As thanks and in appreciation, all Dragons and Bulldogs members will be entitled to free entry as part of their 2017 club memberships.

Members with entitlements to ANZ Stadium can bring along a friend for free.

All adult tickets otherwise will be sold at a capped price of $25 and $40 per family, with free entry permitted for juniors 12-and-under.

There will be no reserved seating on the eastern side of ANZ Stadium for the clash, so make sure to get in early to get prime seating.

Rail transport to and from Olympic Park will also be included with each ticket purchase or membership card.

For the sake of your stomachs, Sausage rolls and meat pies will also be slashed to the low price of $3 each until NRL kick-off.

Any member purchase of Dragons merchandise over $50 on game day will go in the running to win a signed 2017 Dragons jersey.

There will also be plenty of giveaways, entertainment, offers and activities for everybody's enjoyment throughout the day.

In what is shaping up to be a decisive clash for the Red V's top eight fortunes, it will also be the final opportunity for members to see departing Dragons and Bulldogs players in a regular season fixture.

Kick-off is at 4pm and tickets are available here through Ticketek.

They can offer whatever incentives and "appreciation" they like but unfortunately Homebush is still going to look like a small crowd at Park Footy.
Both sides haven't covered themselves I glory this season so I cant see anything other than a computer generated crowd giving it some atmosphere ....at least on tv.

Probably the best side the Dragons could pick.
Do you think Duges will get a Guernsey or has he been wiped?.
He has obviously had a few issues lately but the media were wrong to try and crucify him for going to the pub on his day off during SOG camp when they were not offering any proof he had a big day on the turps other than innuendo because he was at a pub.

I'd play him - he took his punishment. We need him.

I don't like moving Mann to the bench - but he is our best utility player. McCrone - dare I say it - is also a safe and solid half - maybe what we need against Canterbury.

We need to play our "normal" game (eg last week) - not the stop-start game we have played in the past 10-15 weeks.

He's 27 and he's rep player and he isn't worth 1 Million at all. It's not the 1st time he didn't turn up departure time. He's like a teenager.

Missing a bus isn't a major crime especially if there is a good reason for it but it was still wrong to try to make him the scapegoat over NSW's selection ineptitude.
I don't know how much Duges was asking for (as a fullback) BUT if the Dragons value Hunt at $6million then Duges would be worth every cent of $1 mill.
The real issue is the Dragons owe the NRL over $6 Million and something is rotten in the coaching/game play at the club.
Bruce Gordon now might continue to buy half the club seeing his partnership with Murdoch to buy channel Ten looks scuppered.

Tend to agree with Bazz - it's a little more than missing a bus. That's what a kid would say when he missed school.

This bloke is paid a motza to play footie. SURELY he can arrive on time.

Told you before Bazza if you disagree with me that's fine but mount an argument with some meat in it don't just resort to using "fake media" and The Donald as an insult.
You only join the rest of the oxygen thieves who refuse to accept he won. Today they are even having a go at his wife for leaving the whitehouse enroute to Texas wearing high heels saying she could pick up rubbish by stabbing it. The Real media news was that she in fact arrived wearing "flat" sandshoes but never let the facts stand in the way of a god roast.
Dugan MAY have done more than miss the bus BUT you can only comment on what is known and so far a missed bus and a visit to a pub on a day off doesn't a crime make.
He may have not travelled home on the same plane as the rest of the team to BUT unless its in his contract he has to where was the offence?

SJ being paid a Motza(which may or not be true seeing he asked for a pay rise) doesnt guarantee anyone arriving anywhere on time. Of course if he was at the pub or got a better offer to be late then its a different issue...

Either way this weekend could be his last game (if he plays) in Dragons colours.......unless they play in the Liverpool FC playing strip.:bag:

I feel he will play - but he needs a solid kick up the bum. If you look at the stats - games actually played for us - games he actually finishes on the field for us - I feel we were paying him more than enough.

He is not a match winner or even a top try scorer. He rarely sets up tries and causes more angst than he may be worth.

I therefore feel his value is highly diminished. I also feel Hunt will be a much more important player to us in the coming years than Duges has been in the past few years.
