I would have thought looking at him it would be closer to 6 weeks but either way its going to seriously affect the dragons attack and bring about a slide down the ladder.
A good test for Mary now to see if he can really coach or whether we were getting by because a few players were in very good form
Josh Dugan is expected to miss the State of Origin opener against Queensland later this month. But it’s otherwise good news for Dugan, is likely to only miss two NRL games, after suffering a depressed checkbone fracture in Australia’s victory over New Zealand in Canberra on Friday night. “Dugan met with the specialist on Sunday morning where it was determined that he'll miss the next three weeks of football. With a bye scheduled for Round 12, it's anticipated at this stage that Dugan will miss the Dragons' next two games against the Sharks and Warriors.”
I'll take any points we can get ... ! I'd probably put Field at FB and Mann in the halves. Keep Nighty on the wing.
Nighty is solid in any position he plays. Give Mann one more shot in the halves but have Nona and Field on stand bye. Mcdonald is going to have to mark up better on the wing. I would even use Nona or field in the halves, Mann on the wing and Nighty to FB.
Euan Aitken - hamstring strain - possible 2 weeks. Gareth Widdop (knee) – Round 14 Josh Dugan (cheekbone) – Round 13 Drew Hutchison (knee) – season Will Matthews (hip) – indefinite Kiti Glymin (shoulder) – indefinite Levi Dodd (knee) – season
The injuries are starting to stack up and the only leveller could be SOG series while we are assured of earning our points from the Byes this season .
Frizell has been cleared of any serious injury and will be monitored through the week to determine whether he’ll play on Monday against the Bulldogs.
Euan Aitken’s luckless 2017 continues with the 22-year-old looking at an extended stint on the sidelines after picking up a shoulder injury whilst scoring a try against Manly on Sunday. Aitken has scored six tries in just 11 appearance this season but has been limited by ongoing hamstring problems. His shoulder injury adds to that frustration. "He may be able to return to play this season," the club’s head of performance Nathan Pickworth said.
