Always something - as I said once before - if you counted the games he started with us - and finished - you'd understand why the money was important. He was off on Rep duties for some rounds - injured for others - or off the field in others.

You have to work out if a player is worth top dollars. I liked him and felt he had loads of potential - but did he return value for the $ ?

He was doing so well over the sharks ....injury wise to so it was only a matter of waiting and it isn't a good injury.
He isn't on his Pat Malone though. A lot of players seem to be coming down with some major injuries the last few games

I feel its because the Refs don't call "held" early enough - they let them struggle and twist etc. Once forward progress is stopped it should be a tackle.

The "rules" seem to be blurring especially between different Refs.

A lot "held" calls are made and a lot of somewhat "deaf" players seem to constantly see how far they can go "wrestling" the tackled player before a penalty is incurred.
The Players know or should know the rules and a lot more consistency is needed with the Refereeing.
Only occasionally ( and it has to be pretty blatant) do they make those stepping off the play the ball mark go back and do it again
They need to set a "benchmark" of penalties in the 10 to 15 metre zone and then auto sin bin ...or allocate 3 points to a penalty goal kicked in that zone.
Not only are we getting a lot of twisting leg injuries but also cheek and jaw ones as well so perhaps a "plimsoll" line is required on the neckline of all jerseys.

Josh Dugan is out for 3-4wks with a stress reaction in his foot. He only just returned from a foot fracture after 3wks. Could be much worse.

Might be his season over if it flares up again.
