Yes - it'll be all on again folks - next June.
Game One - 6 June 2018
MCG - Melbourne.
Will NSW have a new coach ? Will NSW clean out all the deadwood and pick the best side - one fullback - 2 centres etc etc ? Will NSW pick on form ?
Will NSW win even one game ?
I've said it before and I'll say it again; I don't blame Pearce and Maloney, they are best two halves available. Who else is there? A Reynolds? Hardly. Although Maloney in particular was pretty ordinary today, I thought. Pick two centres in the centre positions and (maybe) get another coach. NSW never looked like scoring a try against QLD's defence. One hopeful kick and a very good take from Dugan was as good as it got. You really have to work hard to score a try against that defence. By contrast, Wallace scored a try that you or I could have scored.
Hard to believe - but tickets on sale in about a week to NRL Members.
Joey for Coach ? Is this a joke ?
Who would you rule out ?

2. Brett Morris
3. Josh Dugan
4. Jarryd Hayne
5. Blake Ferguson
6. James Maloney

Who's in the frame, then?
The usual suspects - Freddie, Joey and all the gang.
I'd like to see a Coach get the job. A coach who has coached at the top level - not an ex-footie player who has played SOO. Not necessarily full time - but we could approach Bellamy, Sticky, Hasler, but not one of the "boys".
Well Dessie will need a job for next year.
I just hope whomever they already have in mind actually picks form players in the position they are actually in form in.
It doesn't matter if you have three brilliant fullbacks, just pick one of them at FB and not all three to put 2 into other spots that can be filled by in form players who already play that position week in and week out.
Maybe ..maybe not BUT a now ex Titans coach needs a gig.
The NSWRL Board has taken another step in the appointment of a new coach for the NSW Blues, confirming a decision will be made at the next board meeting on Friday, 24 November.

Maroons Apparel Partner
Brad Fitler to coach the Blues.
A good idea or more of the same ? I have a feeling its the latter.
We will have to wait and see who actually has the power to select the team but the odds are NSW will continue to use the same selection criterior as usual.
I just don't see it's about selection. Who are these talented candidates that have previously ignored by the Blues?
